Terms & Conditions

Account Setup:
a. All buyers must complete the necessary forms before account setup is approved. Please contact a customer service associate from Asia Direct for form details.

b. California buyers are required to submit a valid re-sale permit before account setup is approved. All existing accounts must maintain a valid Seller's Permit at all times.

c. All terms are based on credit approval. Buyer will need to submit 3-5 current trade references, one bank reference, and one business credit history to qualify for credit application.

Payments:
a. We accept cash, cashier's check, company checks, and 3 major credit cards (VISA, MC, and AMEX). There is a 3% service charge on all credit card payments. No personal checks will be accepted.

b. Company checks will be accepted only on approval basis after verification. Returned (NSF) checks will be subject to a $30 service charge. Once a NSF has occured, the buyer's account will be automatically placed on Prepaid terms until further notice.

Order Placements:
a. Minimum Order: Minimum $500 for the first order to open an account; $600 for shipped out orders. A $30 surcharge may be charged if the order is under the minimum.

b. Shipping & Freight: All freight charges will be paid by the buyers. Freight charges may vary depending on destination.

Shipments:
a. All shipments must be signed for by the buyer at the time of delivery. Unless buyer specifies a particular individual, Asia Direct will assume that any personnel at the delivery destination is authorized to receive the shipment.

b. On all LTL (less than truckload) shipments, if there are any visible damages, the buyer must make a note on the freight bill at the time of delivery for claims purposes.

c. Asia Direct reserves the right to take back merchandise of a delivery if (a) payment is not ready at the time of delivery and (b) a resolution cannot be made between the buyer and an Asia Direct office representative at the time of delivery.

Prices & Availability:
All prices subject to change without notification. Please contact our office to verify price and confirm availability of inventory for any orders placed.

Returns:
a. Returns for manufacturer defective items must be notified to Asia Direct within 30 days from the invoice date. Any returns must be re-packaged as best as possible in the original Asia Direct packaging. Without the original packaging, the claim or return will not be accepted.

b. All returned items will be examined at Asia Direct before any credit can be issued. Please allow 5 business days for the necessary credit to be processed. Asia Direct may require proof of damage related to the claim being made (e.g photos). There will be NO cash refunds - exchange or credit only, no exceptions.

c. Asia Direct will elect to provide spare parts in lieu of return. Part replacement will be provided within 30 days from the date of invoice. In general, small parts (e.g hardware) will be provided at no charge unless the requests become unreasonably excessive.

d. A 15% restocking fee will be imposed in case of exchange requested for a wrong item purchased by customers.

e. Any return/exchange pick up must be requested one day in advance. Asia Direct reps will not accept an exchange or return without proper authorization. Credit deduction at the time of delivery is only allowed upon prior approval.

f. We do not handle claims from end users directly. All requests must go through the dealers who sold the merchandise to their clients.

Account Termination:
We reserve the right to refuse service or close an account for any reason.
